I recently just got baby chicks, six little baby Silkie chicks. They're the cutest things ever and my dog adores them. We call them "The Girls" and to tell you the truth, I'm not even sure they are girls(hens). I am keeping my fingers crossed, because the last thing I want are roosters!!!

This is a new adventure for my family and I and its coming just at the right time, summer! I say this because my business always slows a bit down in the summer time so it give me more time to take care of them and learn the whole process. Most people I imagine would dread this kind of new journey, but I like to think of myself as an suburban farmer, so I'm EGGcited! So how do you like your eggs?
